Questions employers ask before their first hire abroad

01Do I need my own company in that country?

No. As your Employer of Record, Native Teams employs your hire through our own local entity: we issue the contract, run payroll and pay the taxes. You manage the work.

02What is included in the total cost?

Gross salary plus every employer contribution the country requires, such as social security, pension and insurance. Each one is listed with its rate in the breakdown.

03What does Native Teams charge?

Our service fee sits on top of the employer cost shown here and is quoted separately, so the figures on this page are the true cost of employing your hire. A specialist walks you through it on the call.

04Why “a month on average” for some countries?

Countries such as Spain and Portugal pay salary in 14 instalments a year. We divide the yearly cost by 12 so you can compare countries like for like.

05How accurate is this?

It uses each country's standard 2026 statutory rates. Personal circumstances can change the final figures, so a specialist confirms your exact numbers on the call. Guidance, not legal or tax advice.
